Professor Francesca Locatelli, Attorney-at-Law, graduated with top honours from the University of Milan, where she also earned a PhD in Civil Procedure. She obtained the National Scientific Qualification for appointment as Full Professor by unanimous vote of the national committee and currently serves as Associate Professor of Civil Procedure at the Department of Law of the University of Bergamo.

Her professional profile combines a strong scholarly foundation — grounded in an extensive academic background and reflected in numerous publications and speaking engagements at conferences, panels, and advanced postgraduate programmes — with substantial practical experience gained in legal practice since 2004, initially at a prestigious Milan-based law firm and, since 2013, as founder of her own law practice.

Professor Locatelli provides strategic counsel in relation to litigation, arbitration, mediation, and the negotiation of complex contracts, as well as in the management of family crisis matters. She integrates academic and professional expertise in civil and commercial law, civil procedure, and alternative dispute resolution (ADR), with a view to delivering innovative, tailored solutions. She works on a standing basis with Colorio Dispute Resolution in the capacity of Of Counsel.
